The Path to Preventive Genomics
Robert C. Green, MD, MPH
How are advances in genomics enhancing brain health and overall human health?
Hear about the exciting new findings in genomics that are revolutionizing medical care across multiple disciplines, preventing illness and extending healthy lifespan.
Dr. Green is a physician-scientist and Professor of Medicine (Genetics) at Harvard Medical School who directs the Genomes2People Research Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Broad Institute.
Dr. Green is an internationally recognized leader in conducting research and developing policies to accelerate the implementation of genomic and precision medicine.
Current projects include examining the impact of disclosing genetic risk for Alzheimer’s disease on individuals and their caregivers. Through rigorous scientific research, he is establishing a foundation of evidence for genomic medicine that will accelerate the adoption of novel genomics-based technologies and hasten the day when illness is not just treated, but prevented.
